In the ninth meeting of the Singapore-Tianjin Economic and Trade Council which is held online on 1 December. Liao Guoxun, Mayor of Tianjin, Co-Chairman of the Council of Tianjin, Desmond Lee, Minister for National Development and Minister-in-Charge of Social Service Integration of STETC Co-Chairman, attended and delivered speeches.

During the signing of the humanities exchange cooperation project, as the only university education exchange project at the conference, Prof. Liu Bin, President of TVI and Mr. Peter Lam, Principal &CEO, Temasek Polytechnic signed the "Memorandum of Understanding between Tianjin Vocational Institute and Temasek Polytechnic" which is outlined the future cooperation of training and consultancy, industry projects and student programs initiatives.
